Start Looking Beyond Energy Rebates
You’re Leaving Rewards on the Table
Completed an electrical energy efficiency project recently?
Then you’ve already invested time, money, and effort reducing your energy use and helping the environment.
Now, it’s time to make that investment work for YOU.
Maybe you’ve already applied for an energy rebate—or maybe even multiple rebates—and are pleased with the result. The facts are, however;
You can still earn more money for your completed energy efficiency projects.
What are Capacity Market Rewards?
The rewards we’re talking about go above and beyond any rebates you’ve already applied for or received. And they’re possible ONLY because of our membership in PJM Interconnection.
PJM operates the wholesale electricity market for 13 states located primarily in the Mid-Atlantic U.S.
When you complete electrical energy efficiency projects that permanently reduce PJM’s electricity load, that decreases the total amount of capacity needed to ensure reliable electricity supply during peak times of the year. It decreases the need for power from power plants. So it decreases the need for additional generation. That makes your projects valuable!
PJM offers financial rewards for energy efficiency projects through the capacity market.
Unfortunately, contractors and building owners like you don’t typically have access to PJM’s capacity market on your own. That’s where we come in. As a member of PJM, we’re your connection to those rewards. Plus we do all the legwork—at no cost to you.
Large Rewards, Little Obligation
“It sounds good, but do I have to pay to play?”
When you partner with us, we do the work free of charge to you. We qualify and aggregate your projects with others in our portfolio. We receive money from PJM and distribute payments to our partners and customers.
“If I don’t have to pay you, there must be a ton of time and effort on my end.”
We know you’re busy – we are too! – and that’s why we’ve made this partnership opportunity as easy on you as possible. In most cases, we ask you to send us pre-existing paperwork to enable us to qualify your project, which is typically the same information you may have submitted to utilize state rebate programs.
Take a look at our our case studies to see the kinds of results we’ve gotten our partners. We work with Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, and everything in between.
